

Myron Rebecca "Becky" Webber Cooper, 64 of Knoxville, TN, peacefully passed away at home on February 26th, 2025. She was born to George and Margaret Webber on November 17, 1960. She had six siblings, Charles, George, Elizabeth(Lil Bit), Minnie, Vickie, and Lisa. She went to West View Elementary School and then attended Rule High School, from which she graduated in 1978. She met the love of her life, James "Jim" Cooper Jr, that summer, and they married on June 23, 1979. In 1981, they were blessed with their daughter, Christina "Chrissy" Cooper.
Becky worked several jobs, including Albert's Drug Company, Butler's Animal Clinic in Karns, a local convenience store, and she was the receptionist at Rogers Cadillac until 1989 when she was blessed with her son, James "Jimbo" Cooper III.
She was known for her love of animals, and the Cooper home was often filled with many loved pets over the years, including cats, dogs, birds, fish, hamsters, rats, snakes, iguanas, other various lizards, chinchillas, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, scorpions, a goat, and several pigs.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and her sister, Elizabeth. She is survived by and missed by her husband of almost 47 years, Jim Cooper, her two children Christina Johnson (Curtis) and Jimbo Cooper (Ashley); two grandsons Aiden and Carter Johnson; sisters Minnie Webber Breeden, Vickie Webber Daugherty, and Lisa Webber Clark(Glenn); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also missed deeply by her closest friend, Janet Davis and several others.
We will be having a celebration of life as the weather gets warmer.
