Nancy loved gardening and was known for her beautiful roses. She also was a longstanding and active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and served in various officer roles over the years.
She is preceded in death by parents Horace P. Grissom, Sr. and Azalee Butler Grissom, sister Barbara June Grissom, and brothers Horace P. Grissom, Jr. and Boyce McCorkle. She leaves behind several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
As per wishes, Nancy will be cremated and have no services. As an avowed cat lover, donations in her memory may be made to Feral Feline Friends of East Tennessee, 214 Morrell Road, Knoxville, Tn 37919.
