Naomi Faye McFalls, age 71 of Knoxville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday evening, June 13th. She was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church. Naomi retired from Family Care Specialist after 16 years of service to be a caretaker for her husband. If you knew Naomi, you knew joy and laughter. She had the best laugh. Her smile made her glow. She was the definition of if they want to, they will and she did. Naomi gave so much of herself, quietly and without expectation-never asking for recognition, never needing anything in return. Her love was the kind you felt in the little things: laughter that filled the room, a crazy moment, a gentle word at just the right moment, a presence that made even the hardest days feel less heavy. Naomi loved big and her world always involved her family. Naomi loved to craft and had a great eye for interior designing. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Dennis. Her two daughters and son in laws, Ashley Rucker (David) and Rebekah Price (Jonathan). Her pride and joy were her three granddaughters, Emma Rucker, Macy and Sophia Price. She is also survived by her siblings: Maxine Kelley, Becky Hall, Ruth Horner, and Jeff Calloway. She had numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Calloway Sr. and Wanda Faye Calloway. Siblings James Calloway Sr., William (Billy), Mark, Ronnie Dale, and Samuel (Sammy). Receiving of friends will be held Thursday, June 19th from 5 to 7 pm with service to follow at Weaver’s Funeral Home, 5518 Western Ave. Knoxville, TN 37921. Graveside service will be on Friday, June 20th at Bells Campground Cemetery, 7920 Bells Campground Rd. Powell, TN 37849. Please arrive at 10:45 am and burial at 11 am. Officiating: Jeff Calloway and Dr. Frank Catanzaro.
