Nicholas Clayton Elmore

Nicholas "Nick" Clayton Elmore, age 40, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Nicholas was born November 9, 1981. Nick was a loving husband, father, and friend to all. He was a member of Meridian Baptist Church, an avid Knoxville Ice Bears and Nashville Predators hockey fan, a local poker player, a UT Vols and Philadelphia Eagles fan, and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him. He had a vivacious zest for life and always wanted to know, "Are you having the best day ever?", ending every conversation with "I love you." And he meant it.

Preceded in death by his mother, Kimberly Elmore Boling; father, Jimmy Elmore; sister, Mindy Elmore; Nannie GOAT, Linda Headrick; grandfather, Bruce Headrick; uncle, David Headrick; mamaw, Hazel Headrick; and best friend, Danny Wade.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 15 years, April Elmore; beloved daughter, Brooklyn Nicole Elmore; aunt, Amie Dyer (Scott); grandmother, Cynthia Headrick; sister, Savannah Boling; brother, Andrew Boling; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ella and Darrell Parham; sisters: Tiffany Ward (Josh), Nikki Lackey (Justin); nieces and nephews: Riley (Shelby), Caroline, Tanner, Bailey, Haley, Logan, Isabella, Cooper, and Greyson; step-mother, Beckie Elmore; step-brothers Michael (Brandy), Robert; step-sister, April (Ray); special friend and brother, Mike Taylor; as well as countless other family and friends.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Monday, November 15, 2021 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Pastor Dana Fachman officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:15 PM Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Berry Funeral Home to proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for a 1:00 PM interment. Pallbearers: Riley Dyer, Aaron Stewart, Brian Bush, Josh Pedigo, Aydan Rauton, Robert Sifford, Daniel Mills and Mike Taylor.
