Norma Jean Fraim, 97, born in Louisville, KY, passed away on June 18, 2022. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and Andrew Bogle Chapter NSDAR. Jean graduated from the University of Louisville with a B.S. in Home Economics and was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. Jean worked for several years as Librarian at the professional library at Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital. She enjoyed modeling for Stuarts Department Store in Louisville, KY and Millers Department Store in Knoxville.
Jean was a Charter member of Andrew Bogle Chapter NSDAR for 65 years. She was a Regent when she attended Continental Congress in Washington, DC. Jean was a Charter Member of the Fox Den Country Club for 50 years. Jean was a former member of Sacred Heart Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Women's Guild. She was a patron of the arts and belonged to the Dulin Gallery of Art. She was a member of Ossoli Circle Club.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Chester C. Hart Sr. and Cornelia Mae Klaus; husband, Robert C. Fraim; brother, Chester Charles Hart Jr. and sister, Mrs. Edward L. (Betty) Massie.
Jean is survived by daughter, Paula Camille Fraim and son, Alexander Hart Fraim; cousin, Nita Anderson; special long time friend, Mrs. Jack (Fran) Coady, and many nieces and nephews in several states.
A Funeral Mass is planned on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 1pm at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Farragut, TN.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
