Olga "Ollie" M. Ciccarone Frost

Olga “Ollie” Frost – Born in New York City on June 4, 1919 and departed this life at the age of 102 to join her husband, August “Gus” Frost. She died peacefully at Arbor Terrace Assisted Living in Knoxville Tennessee on July 19, 2021. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

After the death of her husband and soul mate, Gus, she moved to Knoxville to be close to her sister Amelia and brother-in-law Lawrence “Pete” Peterfreund. She loved spending time with family and friends. All who knew her will remember her for her gentle and caring nature. Ollie found happiness and contentment in everything she did. She was a devote Catholic and committed time to the catholic women’s guild supporting the parish and bonding with other women who shared her deep spiritual values. She also loved cooking for family and friends, playing golf, gardening and arts and crafts. She was also an avid reader and especially enjoyed a good romance novel or a historical biography.

Preceding Ollie in death are her husband of 25 years Gus Frost, sister Amelia Peterfreund and brother-in-law Lawrence Peterfreund and her brother Ernest Ciccarone. Surviving family include nieces Laurie Peterfreund and Frances Edinger; great nieces Pam Houser and her husband Steven and son Augustine and Ashley McLeod and her husband Jody.

A Memorial Service will be held on August 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm at All Saints Catholic Church at 620 N. Cedar Bluff Road, Knoxville Tennessee. A reception will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Uncle Gus was so lucky to have spent 25 wonderful years with aunt Olga.I know how he adored her. She was such a kind and caring soul. Rest in peace Olga.
