

New Jersey and moved to Florida at the age of 17 where she met her husband, Ronald. Patricia and Ronald married 4 months later and lived a true love story together. They had 3 beautiful children and made Florida their home for over 60 years. She retired from Harris Corporation after 30 years of service. After retirement, they traveled the world together always having the best time with each other. Patricia will be remembered for her big smile, laughter, sense of humor, and loving heart.
She is preceded in death by the love of her life for over 50 years, Ronald Farmer; father, Timothy Herlihy and mother, Blanche Kieffer; brother, Timothy Jude Herlihy and her beloved dog, Danny Boy.
Survived by daughter, Laura Hansen and husband, Eric; son, David Farmer and wife, Carolyn and son, Todd Farmer; 5 beautiful grandchildren: Timothy Fritz, Stephanie Fritz, Calli Fritz, Sean Farmer and Sarah Farmer; nieces: Angela, Teri, Michelle, late niece, Karen; sister-in-law, Kay Keller and many cousins she held dear. She also leaves behind her cherished sister, Diane Catherine Herlihy, who was not only a sister but her best friend and confidant. Their bond was like no other.
The family would like to offer their heartfelt appreciation for the wonderful care the Island Home Park and Smokey Mountain Hospice staff provided for Patricia.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024,11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church,414 West Vine Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37902. A Celebration of her Life will be held in Florida, the place she called home Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the banquet room of Kay's, 1552 West King Street, Cocoa, Florida, 32926.
