Patricia Claire Jones

Pat was the daughter of Paul Floyd and Betty Boyd Jones. After graduating from Elizabethton High School (Johnson City, TN), she attended Maryville College where she received a B.A., and The University of Tennessee where she received a M.M. (Master of Mathematics), served as Director of Christian Education at a church in Virginia, and retired as a computer analyst at the Y-12 Plant in Oak Ridge, TN. She was an active member of First Baptist Church and the Wyndward Sunday School Class. Pat enjoyed being a member of the Golden Notes Senior Choir. For many years she enjoyed domestic and foreign travel, reading and hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Suzanne Boyd Jones Bowman and Betty Ann Jones (infant).

Pat is survived by her brother-in-law, Harold E. Bowman, Irmo, SC; nephew, James Harold Bowman (Carla Gray), Melbourne, FL; niece, Ann Elizabeth Bowman, Raleigh, NC; and special friend, Carla Ruth Farmer.
