Patricia "Patsy" Sue Todd

Born on March 27, 1938, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Patricia was a beloved daughter of Robert and Goldie Hensley. She was a member of the Knoxville Primitive Church and attended Mount Olive Baptist Church and Sevier Heights Baptist Church in later years with family and friends.

Patsy always knew that one day her knight in shining armor would come for her, and when he did, she and her beloved husband, Cleo, built a beautiful life together, raising 3 amazing boys. A life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Her ever growing family was her greatest joy and her most precious blessing. She treasured every moment spent with those she loved and found so much happiness in simply being together.

Above all else, Patsy was a child of God. She loved Jesus with all of her heart and lived her life with a deep and unwavering faith. She knew that one day, when the Lord called her home, she would be welcomed into His presence and spend eternity with Him. She would often say that the very first thing she wanted to do when she reached Heaven was wash Jesus’ feet, a beautiful reflection of the humble, servant-hearted woman she was.

Patsy had a gift for making everyone around her feel loved, welcomed, and cared for. She was a friend to everyone she met. She served others with a joyful heart and never missed an opportunity to show kindness. Her love for God and for people was evident in the way she lived each day.

Her favorite Bible verse was:

“You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.”

Isaiah 55:12

And now, we can imagine Patsy going out in joy and being led forth in peace, welcomed home by the Savior she loved so dearly.

She was preceded in death by parents Robert and Goldie Hensley; brother, Larry Hensley; sister, Linda Stevens; brothers-in-law, Ed Brown, Ernest Underwood and sister-in-law, Darleen Hensley.

Patsy is survived by sons and daughters in law: Mike Todd and wife Kay Todd and her mother Katie Flanagan, Greg Todd, Richie Todd and wife Deb Todd; siblings: Jack Hensley (Joanne), Don Hensley (Marie), Bobbie Jo Brown, David Hensley, Gary Hensley (Sandy), Debbie Underwood, Steve Hensley; grandchildren:

Tiffany Jones and husband Kent Jones, Logan and wife Brianna Todd, Dr. Corey Lee Todd and wife Bethany Marie Todd, Deputy Chandler Todd, Alexis, Ashelynn and Addyson Ahern; great grandchildren: Hannah and Liam Jones, Audrey, Cooper, Attie Sophia Todd; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Special thanks to CNA Roberta for listening to the Lord’s calling to be by Patsy’s side until God called her home. You are such a sweet blessing to our entire family! Thank you to UT Hospice Care for being so sensitive to the needs of Patsy and the family. Thank you to Don Hensley, Jenny Hensley Smith, Katie Flanagan, Deb Starr, and Amber Robertson for standing in the gap and sitting with Patsy when needed. A huge thank you to all of the prayer warriors that have fought the good fight with us, too many to mention.

Also, a special thank you to Amber Robertson and Donna Kear Mitchell for always making Patsy feel and look beautiful this side of heaven. And a big thank you to Meals on Wheels for being such a lifeline to those that are housebound. You provide a wonderful connection to the outside world that they love so much. You were more than a meal service… Your volunteers became her friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920. Family and friends will meet September 2, 2026, at Lynnhurst Cemetery, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville for an 11:00 AM Graveside Service officiated by

Rev. Cesar Correa.
