Memories of Aunt Patsy are she was all about family, opened her home to all, she never met a stranger, always had a smile on her face & I loved her laugh, kind heart and loving spirit!

I will always cherish the memories of loading Bella (my dog) in the car and heading for Gatlinburg. Ahead of me was several days spent lounging around in my pajamas with Patsy while watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, cooking and eating good food, and giggling like little girls. That is one of many great memories I will hold close to my heart.

Only one???? The house off N Purdue before moving to Potomac Circle. Bunk beds with lots of us sharing beds. The move to Potomac Circle to the pink palace...how much fun we had. We ran from one house to another. Cooking big pots of corn in the cob from the Gaults farm at the Gaults but everyone eating fresh corn on the cob. My mom borrowing bourbon from Paul cause she was too embarrassed to buy it to make bourbon balls, then driving home with it on the roof of her car. Going to Knoxville to see the Gilbert's. Time at Tellico Plains in the summer. We Dig Graves!
Barbie fan club, Elvis fan club. Patsy running late to take us to school and being low on gas so we'd stop at the gas station and get $1 of gas.
Most of all I will miss the biggest, sweetest smile and laugh. Gentle, happy, and full of life. As an adult I miss calling her when I was in Gatlinburg and catching up. I miss the friendly neighborhood. I miss Patsy coming in, lifting the lid off whatever Mom was cooking, taking a bite, and smiling...um that's good!.
Can't give just one memory of Patsy and family. All memories of ya'll are precious. You loved your sweet mama. I did too. Prayers and blessings. Sorry I can't be there. My husband had hip surgery yesterday. We need to be here in west TN.
