Paul is such an inspiration of how a life ahould be led. I knew him briefly, but he made his impact, with his never quit attitude, and enormous smike. My heart is heavy, but my spirit soars that you are free from pain. Donna and family, you have my condolences and know he is not gone, but just waiting on your return home.

I have known Paul and his family for about 25 years our children went to school together and I remember Donna working at the flower shop, and taking therapy with Paul at Drayers next to Cardens drive Inn he was always smiling no matter how much pain he was in Paul taught me to grin and bare it which got me through a lot. Paul was a good friend and I will miss Him greatly.

Papa Paul was and still remains such a positive influence in my life. He and his family opened up their hearts and their home to us on many occasions. I particularly was amazed at the kindness and love he showed to a kid from the other side of the world , with nowhere to go and no family to be around at Christmas. My favorite memory with him was sitting in his living room watching Christmas movies, decorating the tree, and all the wonderful meals that we shared with family during the holidays. He taught me that when my car gas light read, E - it didn't stand for "Enough" - I am yet to apply this lesson in my life today but his humor amazed me and I always think back to that moment when I look at my gas light (which is quite often). We may not have spent a lot of time together, but those few moments that I did get to share with Papa Paul - he always made me feel like I was part of his family. What an incredible heart and what an incredible disciple of God. It's been one of the greatest honors in my life to have met him.

I met Paul and Donna here, on line, on Facebook. They were prepairing to go to Washington and speak on behalf of all Kidney patients. My late husband and I were impressed and appreciated his dedication to improving the quality of life for all patients.
Also, from a wifes perspective, you are an example of how a spouse, a marriage should be. Thick n thin you were a unit of one for the betterment of the whole.
I will miss you my internet friend, say hi to Ron and put in a good word for me.
