Church where he served as a deacon and in his retirement years served his church as
Maintenance supervisor for 27 years. Paul worked for Candoro Marble Company and was an owner of The Fireside Shop. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 7 years during the Korean War. Paul will be remembered for his servant heart and love for his family. His loving wife of 66 years, Ruby Sims DeLapp and six brothers and sisters precedes him in death. Paul is survived by his children, Janet (Donnie) Graves, Dan (Tina) DeLapp, Missy (Bob) Cutshaw; sister Pat Glover; sister-in-laws Judy DeLapp, Joan Holbert, Janis Sims; grandchildren Kevin Miller, Jessica Daniels, Stephanie DeLapp, Ashley Cutshaw, a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchild, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00-2:00pm at Meridian Baptist Church, 6513 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville with a service at 2:00pm officiated by Rev. Dana Fachman. The graveside service will follow at 3:00pm at Berry Highland South with full military honors. In lieu of flowers Paul requested that memorials be made to Meridian Baptist Church.
