Peggy Jaynes, age 71, of Nokesville, Virginia and Knoxville, TN, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022. She was very beloved by many who never even met her as she was a fierce prayer warrior for any soul who may welcome it. Through her time on Facebook, she connected with many that were not only friends, but become like family to her and many members of her actual family.
Peggy was a teacher for several years of Kindergarten and was a teacher at heart.She enjoyed teaching anyone who may listen and truly was full of wisdom. Peggy was married to Robert Jaynes for 40+ years and they were so in love like kids, even at the end. They were truly each other's life line and each other's compliment.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Jack T. and Kathleen Riddle Farmer and sister: Jacqueline Anne Farmer Clabough.
Peggy leaves behind her husband: Robert H. Jaynes Jr., daughter: Amber Davis, husband, Ron Davis;
granddaughter: Alicia Eggert, husband, Jason Eggert; granddaughter: Samantha Davis, and grandson: William Wesley Crawford. Great grandson: Jason James Eggert and great granddaughter: Elizabeth Mae Eggert.
A visitation for Peggy will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Riverdale Baptist Church, 7124 Thorngrove Pike, Knoxville, TN. Funeral services will follow on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Tom Miller officiating. Family and friends will gather at 12:45 PM, on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Stony Point Church Cemetery for a 1:00 PM, graveside service.
The family asks that donations be made in her honor to the Riverdale Baptist Church, if you do not wish to send flowers.
