On Wednesday, November 21, 2018, Philip Bennett Caughran left this world at the young age of 61. He was known mostly for his ability to make people cramp up with laughter. He was never short of a witty joke or sarcastic comment that lightened even the darkest times. When he wasn’t making his family and friends wheeze with laughs, he was helping others. He worked as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse at UT Medical Center and had a passion for knowledge.
He is greatly missed by his loving ex-wife Denise Caughran and his two daughters Chelsea and Kirstie Caughran whom he loved more than anything in this world… except for the Tennessee Vols, Mexican food, and a bottle of Evan Williams. He will forever be loved as he is laid to rest, no longer pining for the fjords. To anyone wishing to contribute to Philip Caughran’s memory, you can do so by donating to the Alzheimer’s Association for research and care: https://act.alz.org/site/Donation2?df_id=40550&40550.donation=form1&32112.donation&utm_expid=.VlZ_4eA2Rp-Rc_UPY5lxKA.1&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.alz.org%2Fabout
It is a comfort to know that his soul is not gone or forgotten, just on to something completely different.
