Philip H. Rule

Rule, Philip H. – age 59, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 with his family by his side. He was a special son of Sarah Jane McGregor Rule and the late Harley Harold Rule. Although he didn’t talk, Philip was always ready with a smile, handshake, and a wave. He enjoyed his time at the Sertoma Center with his friends and those who cared for him. He faithfully attended Stock Creek Baptist Church his entire life, and will be missed by his church family who loved Philip for his sweet smile and spirit. Philip was a loving son, brother and uncle, and will be greatly missed by his mother; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Michelle Rule; brother, Charles Rule; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Michael Hood; nieces and nephews, Ramsey Rule, Virginia Rule, Jeremy Rule, Hannah Rule, Laura Hood, Joseph Hood; many McGregor and Rule cousins. The family will receive friends at Stock Creek Baptist Church from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, November 13, 2014. A 7:00pm funeral service will immediately follow. Family and friends will meet at Stock Creek Cemetery on Friday, November 14, 2014 for an 11:00am graveside service.
