Polly Anna Fugate

She was a very loving and caring person. She was a member of Hillcrest Community Church. She worked at the Standard Knitting Mill as a sewer until her third child.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Betty, Bonnie, Margaret, and Ollie; four brothers, Fred, Clyde, Jack, Edward; loving husband of sixty-five years, Robert Fugate; daughter, Sandra; son, Anthony (Tony); great-grandson, Brandon.

She is survived by her sister, Evelyn; son, Larry; four granddaughters, Monica (Jesse), Krista (John), Megan, and Kayla; four great-grandsons, Michael, Bryson, Levi, and Cory; three great-granddaughters, Jaiden, Jalia, Tiara; great-great-grandson, Wesley; great-great-granddaughter, Kaylonnie. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to U.T. Hospice and their team: Teri McCall, Phillip Groose, Katirina, Carol, Faith, Tiania, and Morgan, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather for a graveside service to honor the memory of Polly on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 1:00pm, at Asbury Cemetery, 5100 Asbury Cemetery Road, Knoxville, TN 37914, with Pastor Denis Ford to officiate the service.
