He was born on August 30,1953 in Knoxville, Tennessee, to Jack and Dorthy Ingle Glover. He was a 1973 Karns High School graduate and a United States Air Force Vietnam Era Veteran, serving in Southeast Asia. Following his enlistment, he returned to Knoxville and attended Roane State Community College before going to work for Norfolk Southern Railroad. Toby was a caring and loving man who had an immense sense of humor. His passion for the University of Tennessee Athletics was very evident in his extensive orange wardrobe. He even exited this world covered with his orange Tennessee blanket. Toby's passing leaves a void in our hearts that will never be replaced but our memories will carry on forever.
Toby is preceded in death by his mother Dorthy and father Jack. His sisters, Sandra and Debbie, his brothers, Jackie, Mike, Stevie, and Gary. His stepsister, Pat Herron and stepbrother Dennis Dixon.
He is survived by his wife, Dewanna Wells and their children: Toby (TJ), Dewanna Jo and husband, Brian Vance, Josh and wife, Karisa Glover, Bo Glover and Campbell Glover -Much loved Grandchildren- Avery, Macy, Ransom, Neyland and Nash Glover, and Sydney Thompson. Brother - Randy Glover, Step brother - Jeff Dixon, Aunt and uncle- Ella Mae and Frank Miller, Aunt- Bernice Pitts and Uncle -Bill Woodrick. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
