WILLIAMS, RALPH O’NEAL “BUDDY” – age 82 of Knoxville passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Ralph retired from ORNL and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in Europe with the Strategic Air Command. He enjoyed watching his sons play sports and coached Little League baseball and football for many years. Later in life, one of his favorite pastimes was researching his family genealogy. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Betty Lois Williams; son, David Brian; daughter, Laurel Evelyn and sister, Aileene Brooks. Survived by his son, Stephen Michael and wife Laurel Jean Williams; grandchild, Shelby Jean Williams; sister, Frances Stambaugh of Cincinnati, OH and Oneda Bryant of Corbin, KY. Visitation will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 pm Friday in Weaver’s chapel with service to follow at 6:30 pm.
