Ray Manning

Manning, Ray Edward, - age 75 passed away January 30, 2013. He was a member of Stock Creek Baptist Church. Retired from the Knoxville Utilities Board with 36 years’ service. Mr. Manning was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in the Tennessee Air National Guard 151st Fighter Interceptor Squadron. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Preceded in death by parents, Ralph Albert Manning and Helen Fox Manning. Survived by wife of 51 years, Helen Neubert Manning; son, Edward Scott Manning; daughter, Lora Manning-Patterson; grandchildren, Evan Christopher Patterson and Chloe Elizabeth Patterson; sister, Joan Manning Hurst and husband , Doug Hurst; mother-in-law, Hazel Neubert and special friend, Jesse “Buddy” Cook. The family will receive friends, Friday, February 1, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
