Reba Carolyn Frere, age 80 of Knoxville, Tennessee went to Heaven on November 22, 2018. Reba was one of the first women to be certified in Nuclear Medicine. She worked at St. Mary's Hospital where she met the love of her life, Dr. John Marsh Frere, Jr. She enjoyed playing classical piano, volunteering at Interfaith Health Clinic, traveling and most of all loving on her grand-children.
Reba is preceded in death by her soul mate, Dr. John M. Frere and Grandson, Nathan Mayo. She is survived by her children, Angel Chabot, Karen (Trent) Mayo, Joy (Sean) Sweaney, Jill (Noah) Frere, Susie (Jeff) Wood, John Marsh (Genny) Frere III, Matthew B. (Kelly) Frere ; Grandchildren, Jessica Frere Karstulovich, Laura Mayo, Adelaide Sweaney, Santosha Frere and Great-Grandchild, Lillian Belle Karstulovich.
The family is receiving friends at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 6:00pm-8:00pm with a funeral service to follow with Brother Don Wilson officiating. Family and Friends meet at Berry Funeral Home on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 10:00am and will proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for the graveside service with Brother Charlie McNutt officiating.
