Reva Joyce Giles

‘NANNY’ July 2, 1936 – September 22, 2023

‘Nanny’ was a loving and caring Mother of 3, Sister to 2, Grandmother to 7 and Great-Grandmother to 6. She proudly retired from the Tenn Dept of Corrections where she served troubled teens. A fantastic cook, she truly enjoyed doing for others while her health allowed. The Family offers a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Autumn Care Assisted Living in Karns.

She was preceded in passing by Daughter; Jody Giles-Martin, Sister; Susie Moore, Mother; Lillian Johnson-Moore, And Husband; Earl Giles. She is survived by Sons; Anthony ‘Tony’ Giles and Very Special Friend Gina Webb- Atchley & Family, Mark Giles and Wife Karen & Family, and Brother; Sam Moore. Grandchildren; Michael Martin, Marsha Giles-Boyle & Family, David ‘Andy’ Giles & Family, Joseph Ruff & Family, Tyler Hays & Family, Tori Hays & Family, and Alex Giles (NSA).

A graveside service for Reva will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920. The graveside service will be Officiated by Pastor Bruce Galyon.
