Rex L. Davis age 88 of Knoxville passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at his home. He was a member of Norwood United Methodist Church. Mr. Davis was a former Knoxville City Councilman in the mid 1970’s. He was a Korean War Veteran of the United States Army. Preceded in death by his parents Hedrick and Roxie Davis and son Anthony Davis. Survivors include his wife Shirley Davis, children Max Roark (LeAnne), Donna Longworth (Bill), Douglas Davis (Rose), several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family and friends will meet Friday, May 26, 2017 at 2:45pm at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN, 37919, for a 3pm interment service.
