I lived on Piedmont Street growing up. Rita lived the street over so I would see her often. My memory is she was so sweet and so beautiful always. So sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you.

I’ve been searching for words that could adequately say just how much Rita blessed our family. I met her when I was engaged to marry my dear husband. Rita was his first paralegal and continued this position in his law practice throughout his career (27 years). But she was so much more than Chris’ paralegal. She was his cheerleader, his friend, his confidant, and his second mother. Together they weathered many storms and celebrated just as many rainbows. She supported him in life through difficult times and challenges both personally and professionally and she celebrated their success. I say their success because the formation and success of the law firm would not have been without Rita. She encouraged him and our family. She was his constant. Rita helped mold Chris into an amazing husband, father, friend and attorney. Her constant presence, dedication and love for my husband shaped his family and his law firm. I will forever be grateful for her. Lynn, Clint, Tonya, Michelle, Matt, Josh, Haley, Destani and Jeramy thank you for sharing Rita with my family. We would not be who we are without her. I miss her tremendously and will be forever grateful that she was part of our lives. The word love isn’t strong enough to express how we, our whole family, feel about our dear, sweet, Rita. I pray for peace for her family and all who were blessed to know and love her.

Dear sweet Rita you will be missed by so many.
I worked with Rita several years ago. She was an eternal ray of sunshine in any situation. Her wonderful smile
never faltered.
I most appreciated her for her unfailing love for her family.
Lynn, Michelle and Clint you were the most important parts of her life. I'm sure the grandbabies joined in that beautiful circle when they came along.
Their are friends you may not see or talk to for a while but you know they are your friend no matter what..this is sweet Rita.
My heart is breaking for this family in their time of loss. Hold close the many, many sweet memories of this wonderful lady. Pray that you find comfort in God's grace and peace.

I met Rita when I began working for Garner & Conner a little over two years ago. She was always a beautiful person inside and out to be around. She radiated joy. It was impossible to ever feel down or upset when she was around due to her kind and loving nature.

She was a hardworking, devoted woman. I feel so blessed to have known her and considered her a very dear friend of mine. I loved her just as if she was my own family. I'll miss her beautiful smile, thoughtful words, and warm hugs.

My daughter and I absolutely adored her and will always.

Our hearts are truly broken over this. I wish the best for her family and will keep them all in my prayers.

Rest peacefully, Rita. We will always love you.

Rita was the kindest, caring and most honest woman I had the honor to work for at Garner & Conner. She was our rock. Her smile lit up the office. Her professionalism was respected and valued. I will never forget her love for flamingos and cruises. We loved to hear about her adventures. Oh, and her gambling stories were the best! We will never ever forget you Rita Jo! Our hearts are broken, but we know one day, we will all be together again!
