I have only known Mr. Julian for a couple of years, as his insurance agent.  I was able to assist him several times, he was always kind and polite with the delays when speaking with different offices and agencies.  I am sorry to hear of his passing and will miss speaking with him.

My Dearest Uncle Bill, 
I met you when I was 11yrs old, and how proud I was to have an American Uncle. We shared so many laughs together and shed lots of tears too, when we had to say our goodbyes. 
You were also very loved by my children Craig and Lauren, who also have the fondest memories of you.  We always talk about the way you always have the same for breakfast every day " sausage and egg on toasy with Mayonnaise please" you would say to the lady at the window of Wendy's. We say this in your accent obviously, doesnt sound the same in our English accents. 
This is not our final goodbye, we will meet agian. I know you are in a much better place now.

Robert William, (Billy) Julian 
His parents were, Haskell James (Bob) Julian , Knoxville, TN and Peggy Julian  Wheat, Nashville, TN. Billy had one sister, Ellen Bryant, and her husband Barry, Slough, England. Two nieces, Amanda Bryant Barrett,  Camberley, England and Simmone Bryant West, Slough, England.  He also leaves behind several cousins in the Knoxville, Maryville, TN area and Raleigh-Durham, NC. He went to Young High School.
It saddens me to hear of Billy’s passing.  When Mamaw Julian, Lora Lona Stephens, was alive we had many family gatherings. After she died the years flew by and we didn’t see as much of each other. 
A little history on Billy,
He was raised in Vestal by his grand parents. William Martin Julian and Lora Lona Julian. They had a grocery store between Avenue  C and Avenue D. If you were raised in that area in the 1950-60, you know where the store was located. 
My parents, Clarence and Lois, moved to Maryville in 1953. Some of my early memories are driving to Knoxville to visit grand parents, uncle’s, aunts and cousins, especially maybe get candy or cola at Papaws store!
  I shared this story with Billy several years ago, he got a good laugh out of it. On one Saturday when we were visiting Knoxville, I was around 6 or 7 years old, Billy was 7 years older than me. The Knoxville cousins called Mamaw, Momma.  Mamaw Julian didn’t say much that I can remember. But, on this Saturday Mamaw found out that Billy had skipped school on Friday.  I remember her cornering Billy on the bed, she started whipping him. He
tried to get away.  She pulled the bed spread off he moved back more. She tore the blanked off, he tried to get away. “Momma, Momma stop I’m sorry”. He moved back more Mamaw tore the sheets off, “Momma, Momma, stop I won’t do it any more!” When I shared this story with Billy, I told him I might have been younger than him, but I knew Mamaw was mad because he  was trying  to get away!
