Robert Ray Conner

Robert R. Jr (Bob) Conner, born March 27,1952, went to be with the Lord January 23, 2023. Bob attended Doyle High School, graduating in 1970, and Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, NC. He was retired from The Knoxville News Sentinel where he was a mailer for 40 years. Bob was a member of Stock Creek Baptist Church, Knoxville. He was preceded in death by parents: Ray and Mildred Conner of Knoxville, Tennessee. Bob is survived by brother, James L. (Jim) Conner of Kingston, TN. Graveside services will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, 229 S Gallaher View Rd., Knoxville, Tennessee 37919 on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Buddy Johnson officiating.
