Robert Frank Faubion went home to the Lord on July 9th, 2026 at the age of 64. He was born in South Knoxville, Tennessee on October 26th, 1961 to Rufus and Betty (Moore) Faubion. He completed the family as the sixth child. He was surrounded by a huge family and many loving communities, and grew up serving those around him.
Robert graduated from South Young High School in 1979, and graduated from State Technical Institute at Knoxville (now Pellissippi State Community College) in 1981 with a degree in Electronics.
He took pride in everything he did, from his work at Knoxville News Sentinel, Watt Saver, BellSouth, Massey Electric, and Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) where he dedicated 23 years of his career.
Robert met the love of his life, Kimberly (Turner) Faubion, on a blind date in 1987, and they married in 1990. Together they welcomed their three daughters, Sarah, Hannah, and Rebekah.
Robert was committed to serving his communities through bread runs, softball ministries, serving as a church youth leader, Sunday school teacher, deacon, and VBS leader. He was passionate about cooking, baking, and food in general, and took pride in making meals for others. He loved to make food from all cultures and put his own touch on every dish. He was a devoted Tennessee Vols fan and you could almost always find him wearing something orange to support them.
He is preceded in death by both his parents, Rufus and Betty, his sisters. Brenda, Linda and a baby girl, and his brother Randy. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly; his daughters, Sarah, Hannah, and Rebekah; his brother, Rick; his nieces, Nikki, Chrissie, Michelle, Micha; his special friends, Vic and Teresa Anderson; and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
