REV. ROLAND LYNN McCLAIN passed into his Eternal Heaven on January 31, 2015. Rev. McClain was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Evelyn Roberta McClain. Lynn served as Pastor of several Baptist faith churches in this area. In his later years, Lynn spread the word of God through radio evangelism. Lynn lived a long happy 96 years, his faith in God provided him strength. Survived by niece, Marilyn Ramsey who gave him special care and niece, Micky Blakley who always took him out for lunch on Sunday; special friend, Steve Foster. Lynn will be sadly missed by the staff at Shoney’s. The family will receive friends 6-7 pm Monday at Weaver Funeral Home with the service to follow at 7 pm. Rev. Leonard Norman officiating.
