

Chasteen, Ronald “Ronnie” David – age 71, passed away suddenly, May 28, 2014, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He served in the US Air Force and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He retired from KUB after working 38 years in the Relay and Test Department and was respected by his peers for his willingness to share his technical expertise. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by parents, James and Anna Mae Chasteen, brother, Marvin (Dorothy) Chasteen, and sister-in-law, Doris Chambers. Survivors: wife of 46 years and love of his life, Wanda Chasteen; Son Jeff (Chrissie) Chasteen; Daughter Tammie (Kevin) Clendenen; Grandchildren: Katie, Abbie, Aaron, Maisie and Ellis Chasteen; Austin Fletcher; Brother, Don (Cathy) Chasteen; The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home Chapman Highway, Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 4 PM to 6 PM with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 6:00 PM, Rev. Jon Cormack officiating. Family and friends will meet on Monday at 12:00 at Berry Funeral Home to proceed to East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Gov.
