Ronald Samuel Joiner

Ronald Samuel Joiner – age 58 of Knoxville passed away Christmas morning, 2016. He was a deacon at Marble City Baptist Church. He was a hard worker, loving father, Poppy, husband, brother and second father to many. Ron was an avid UT football and NASCAR fan. He touched many hearts and was loved by all. Preceded in death by his parents George and Billie Joiner, brother Dennis Joiner and nephew James Baldwin. Survivors include his loving wife Cathy Joiner, daughters Stephanie Vickers (Brandon), Suzanne Joiner, grandson Barrett Vickers, brother Michael Joiner and sister Debbie Tayman ( Donnie), brother-in-law Mike Baldwin, nieces and nephews Tommy Tayman (Amber), Debbie Hibbert (Eddie), Mandy Shoopman (Eric) and Jessica Baldwin, father-in-law and mother-in-law Gartman and Linda Baldwin. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Cole Neuroscience Center at UT Medical Center, 1928 Alcoa Hwy, Suite 102, Knoxville, TN 37920. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 5-7pm with a Celebration of Life beginning at 7pm, W.C.
