Ronald Steven Wade

RONALD STEVEN WADE, age 65 of Knoxville was called home by his Heavenly Father on October 31, 2016 at his home surrounded by his devoted family. He was born September 1, 1951 in Knoxville, Tennessee, to Allen and Dorene Wade. Ron was of the Methodist faith and was a graduate of Young High School. He worked 48 years in the wholesale florist business as a salesman, most recently at Tennessee Wholesale Florist. He was a very special person who always had a smile and touched many people’s lives. He will be tremendously missed by family, friends, former co-workers, and clients. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Wade; grandchild, Jordan Webb; and brother-in-law, David Heidel. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Nina Wade; daughter, Jennifer Wade of Clearwater, Florida; brother, Allen (Janie) Wade of Knoxville; mother-in-law, Lorraine Heidel of Wartburg, Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Joan (Neil) Weber of Murray, Kentucky; Wanda (Leroy) Turner of Wartburg; Sue Heidel of Wartburg; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Riley. The family would like to express special thanks to Amedisys Home Health and Hospice Care staff who lovingly cared for him. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 pm November 11, 2016 at Weaver Funeral Home, 5815 Western Ave., Knox., TN with service to follow at 7:00 pm. Chaplain Clay Mulford and Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15 am Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, for a 10:30 am interment.
