Ronda Sue (Rodgers) Conner 81 of Knoxville went to be with the Lord Sunday July 1, 2018. Ronda retired from Food City on Asheville Hwy as Floral manager and florist for over 40 years. She attended Central High School in Knoxville and a member of First Baptist Church in Strawberry Plains. Ronda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded by husband, Jimmy Glenn Conner; parents, John and Bonnie Rodgers; brother, Glenn Rodgers; sisters, Janice Walker and Edna Frazier. Ronda is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Tina Conner; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Chris Bowling and Joni and Joe Hall; 2 grandchildren, Misty Shipe and Wyatt Hall; 2 great-grandchildren, Allison Shipe and Abby Shipe; 2 brothers, David and Jerry Rodgers; 4 sisters, Johnnie Lou Jett, Lois Wiser, Kathy Hardin and Mary Lee Stinnet. The family will meet at McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home on Asheville Hwy Friday July 6, 2018 around 9 a.m and leave in procession to Strawberry Plains Cemetery on Old Andrew Johnson Highway for a 11 a.m graveside service. I work with Ronda at Food City and we would go to meeting we were both Food City Floral Manager, she will be missed and she was loved. She was a very special friend. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
