Rose Bell Low Evans

EVANS, ROSE B. (GRILLS) – Born December 18, 1918 was called home by our Lord and Savior on November 29, 2010. She was a long time member of the Karns community and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Waiting to greet her in heaven were her first husband, Johnnie Riley Grills and second husband, Kenneth Scruggs Evans. Survived by seven daughters, Mary Lou Ricketts (Elmer), Dorothy Flynn (Joe), Helen Howard (Rod), Alice Bennett (Willie), Martha Knight, Debbie Tonks (Colin), Kathy Roach (Les) and Step-daughter, Judy Elwood (Jerry); fifteen grandchildren, Cynthia, Kimberly, Andrew, Greg, Scott, Jerry, David, Steven, Tammy, Beth, Courtney, Garrett, Traci, J.J., and Kyle; seventeen great-grandchildren, Scott, Brian, Jimmie, Jacob, Matthew, Thomas, Dodge, Tyler, Amanda, Cole, Chance, Daniel, Kyler, Megan, Kaylie, Emma and Riley; one great-great-grandchild, Catlin. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Weaver’s Chapel with the service to follow at 7 pm. Rev. David Stooksbury officiating. Family and friends will meet at Weaver’s Friday, December 3rd to proceed to Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery in Powell for an 11 am interment.
