Rubye Frances Shoemaker – age 79 of Knoxville passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016. She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church. She was a retired Teachers Aide with the Knox County School System. She is preceded in death by her parents Lowry and Minnie Shoemaker. Survivors include her brother James Lowry Shoemaker, nephew Jamie Shoemaker, niece Allison Hicks and her daughter Lauren Hicks. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 12-2pm with a Funeral Service to follow at 2pm at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315, Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN.
