Sam excelled academically, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Anthropology with honors from the University of Tennessee. Her commitment to excellence extended beyond academics to her military service. She was a proud member of The Army ROTC and the United States Army, where she demonstrated leadership and courage.
In her free time, Sam pursued her hobbies with enthusiasm. She held a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, was a lover of horses, and expressed her creativity through art. Her adventurous spirit and determination inspired all who knew her. Sam will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication to her country and her passions.
Sam is survived by her loving parents, Scott and Cindy, her brother Matthew, grandparents Mike and Denise Frevert, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates, and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Everett Jr. and Alberta Temple and grandfather, Salvatore Pugliese.
