Sandra Lea Lynch Thorn

Sandra "Sandy" L. Lynch Thorn, age 68, of Knoxville, passed away January 24, 2017 at Parkwest Medical Center. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and taking care of her grandkids. She had been employed for the last 17 years at Covenant Health. Preceded in death by her parents, Glenn E. Lynch, Sr. and Mildred Suttles Lynch. Survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Larry Thorn; son Christopher Thorn, of Knoxville; daughters, Erin Threadgill and fiancé Daryl McCall, of Houston, TX, Lauren Weekley and husband Ryan, of Knoxville; grandchildren, Savannah, Bailey, Dylan, Brooklyn, Noah, and Lane; brother, Glenn Lynch, Jr. and wife Deborah, of Knoxville; cousin, Anne Austin, of Knoxville; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and special friends. The family will receive friends at Weaver Funeral Home, Saturday, 3 - 5 pm, with service at 5 pm.
