Sarah Phylma King

Mrs. Phylma Swain King, 102, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Phylma was a member of Lake Forest Presbyterian Church, and a member of Phi Delta Kappa. She retired from Knoxville City Schools after 34 years of service of being an educator at Beaumont Elementary. In retirement, she was a member of the Golden Cloggers and traveled the United States. Phylma will be missed by all who had the privilege to call her friend.

She was preceded in passing by her husband Robert S. King; brother, Ralph Swain; parents, Cicero and Mabel Swain.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her nieces and nephews, Gerry Swain, Keith Swain, Carol Richardson, and Nancy Boone.

Family and close friends will gather for a private interment.
