Sharon, age 77 born June 4, 1949, in Jellico, TN went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 30, 2026. She passed at home surrounded by family. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Jeff Dunn; Sister-in-law, Patricia Houser, many nieces, nephews, cousins and most cherished loyal friend “Buster”. She also leaves behind her church family, Prospect Baptist Church in Walland, TN.
She is preceded in death by husband Rev. C.M. “Cotton” Kelly, her parents Letha and Walter Faulkner, Jr; brother-in-law Billy G. (Jerry) Houser.
One of her greatest joys was quilting. She frequently referenced her sewing nook as “her happy place”. She enjoyed this with 2 other friends. The trio became the “Sassy Sewer Society”. Through each stitch, she created something beautiful and lasting. The quilts she made will remain treasured keepsakes, reminders of her talent and the time and care she put into her craft.
Though Sharon’s passing brings sadness, her life leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and treasured memories. Much like the quilts she lovingly made, the people and moments that shaped her life were woven together in a way that will never be forgotten.
Rest peacefully, Sharon. Your love will remain stitched into the hearts of those who love you, always.
All are welcome to pay respects during a Call at Convenience on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 10:00AM to 5:00PM at Berry Highland South Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel.
