

Sheron May Bellman, age 76, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2017. She was a member of Allen Memorial United Methodist Church in Athens, Tennessee. She graduated from St. Luke’s Nursing School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and spent the majority of her working life as a registered nurse. She and her husband, Robert were responsible for caring for fifteen foster children over the years. Sheron was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mildred Scott; brothers, Charles Scott, Jr. and Tommy Scott; and sister, Carol Bickford. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Robert Bellman; children: Gary Bellman and wife Rita; Neal Bellman and wife Marie; Apryl LaMaster and husband, Bill; grandchildren: Robin Santos, Sarah Bellman, Audrey Langway, Briana Bellman, Kayla Bellman; great-grandchildren, Madalynne Langway, and Emmanuel Bellman; sister-in-law, Janet McCorkle; sister-in-law, Nancy Bellman; and sister-in-law, Beverly. Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Highland West Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM, Pastor Charla Sherbakoff officiating.
