Shirley was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Nancy Humphrey; nephew, Brandon Humphrey.
She is survived by husband, Bobby Leo Hilgerson; brother, Barry Humphrey; sister, Connie; special sister-in-law, Gail (Eugene) Kersey; brother-in-laws, Maynard Washam, Mike Williams and Joey. special nieces, Amilya Hilgerson, Hope Brindle and Amy Humphrey; nephews, Hayden Humphrey, Adam Whedbee and John Whedbee; several nieces and nephews; and Teresa and McKayla were like daughters
The family will receive friends Monday, February 24, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. at Berry Highland South Funeral Home, 9010 E. Simpson Road, Knoxville. Family and friends will meet at Berry Highland South Cemetery Tuesday, February 25, 2025 for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service, Rev. Norman Smelcher officiating.
