Shirley Ruth Jones of Knoxville, Tennessee died on Friday, April 21, 2023. She was originally from Kingsport, TN and moved with her husband to California in 1963. She retired from Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, CA, and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Barstow until moving to Knoxville in 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Jones.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Valerie Jones; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Willard Cradic; niece-in-law, Angela Cradic and her grand-niece, Liliana Cradic.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 29, 2023 between the hours of 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM in the parlors of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville. Shirley will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
