Shirley Ann Norton, age 60, of Louisville, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 9, 2023. She loved the Lord and many thought of her as their prayer warrior. Shirley loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was a member of Knoxville Christian Center where she was loved by many. Shirley was selfless and very giving. She was vivacious and enjoyed kick-boxing, karate, dancing and taking vacations with her husband, Don.
Shirley was preceded in death by mother, Gladys Caughorn; brothers: Alvin, Charles, Bobby and sister, Joann.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Donald Norton; sons, Chris Cheatham, Kenny (Therese) Cheatham; grandchildren: Dawson, Isaiah, Zeke, Maryann, Jack; brother, Michael Caughorn; sisters: Pat (Carl) Riddle, Janie (Larry) Ward, Jackie (Steve) Johnson, Brenda Delaney; host of nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Island Home Health and Rehabilitation who tenderly cared for her for the past 6 years.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 11, 2023 between the hours of 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville with a service to follow at 7:00 PM officiated by Rev.
