Shirley Ann Proctor

Proctor, Shirley Ann, 76, of Knoxville, went home to be with Jesus Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Shirley was a member of Redemption Harvest Church of God and loved her church family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Proctor; parents, James and Evelyn Milligan; sisters, Debbie Lovette and Mildred Ownby; brothers, James and Michael Milligan; nephews, Jason Pope and Jacob Ownby; and granddaughter, Whitney Nichole Jones. She was survived by her son, Joe Proctor, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Vickey and Johnny Jones; sisters, Rebecca Milligan, Freda Pope, Margaret Fuller, and Teresa (Donnie) King; brothers, Fred Milligan and Ed (Mary) Milligan; grandchildren, Sarah (Jimmy) Carey and Jessica Jones (Christopher Thames); great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Jaelyn Carey, and Braylen Thames; and many more step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; devoted aunt, Clara Riffey; and her number one best friend since childhood, Trula Strange. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Berry Funeral Home on Chapman Highway from 4:00-6:00pm. A service will follow at 6:00pm with Rev. Becky Milligan officiating.
