Shirley M. St. John

St. John, Shirley M., born January 16, 1938, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 19, 2012. Shirley was a “spirited attender” of Southside Baptist Church where she enjoyed the fellowship of her dear friends. Preceded in death by parents, George and Edna Johnson; and daughter, Kathy St. John. Survived by husband of 54 years, Ernest St. John; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Randy Clowers; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Teresa St. John; grandchildren, Ashley Rader, Caleb St. John, Aaron St. John, Joshua Spurling and D.J. Cates; great-grandchild, Caden Rader; and sister, Joyce Leo of Illinois. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. A celebration of Shirley’s life will begin at 8:00 p.m., Dr. Clarence Gresham officiating. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 10:15 a.m. to proceed in procession to Mt. Olive Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
