Steve Johnson

Johnson, Steve –age 60, of South Knoxville, died on Monday, January 21, 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by father, Brownie Johnson; mother, Mildred Johnson Bowman; nephew, Nick Johnson. Survived by sisters; Gerrie Wilkins (Joe), Barbara Galyon (Jerry); brothers, Ronnie Johnson, Randy Johnson (Sue); 5 nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in his memory to the charity of your choice. Family and friends will meet at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Highway, 11:30 am Thursday, January 24, 2013 for graveside services with Rev. Jay Galyon officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Steve's death. So many childhood memories of hanging out down at John and Nell's with everyone and watching TV and eating big bowls of popcorn. This candle is for you, my friend. Rest in peace.
