Dr. Ted A. George Sr.

George Sr., Dr. Ted A. (87) of Knoxville, TN went home to be with the Lord Tuesday April 21, 2015. Dr. George graduated from UT College of Dentistry where he later taught as a professor. Dr. George practiced dentistry in Knoxville until his retirement. Prior to his dentistry career, he was a tool designer for Robert Shaw Fulton and proudly served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Audrey; daughter, Pam Wiser; and 5 siblings. Ted is survived by sons Dr. Ted George and Dr. David George and their families; sisters, Barbara Marcum and Anna Kragnes; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Saturday April 25th at Berry Funeral Home 3704 Chapman Highway from 12-2pm. Funeral service to follow visitation at 2pm with Charles Hampton officiating. Family and friends will gather at Berry Highland South for entombment at 3pm after funeral service.
