Mr. Terry L Carpenter

Terry Lynn Carpenter, age 64, a resident of Jonesborough, TN passed away Tuesday May 24, 2016 at Johnson City Medical Center. Terry was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs, TN; he retired from the Keebler Co.; and Wal-Mart Corporation, after serving many years for both companies. He is survived by wife, Brenda Carpenter of Jonesborough; parents, Bill and Margaret Carpenter of Knoxville; three step-children, James Price of Chicamauga, GA; Jeff Price and wife Susan of Franktown, VA; Traci Neese of Morgantown, VA; seven step-grandchildren, two sisters, Linda and husband Kenny Bolin of Knoxville; Brenda and husband Craig McCutcheon of Texas; one brother, Jerry Carpenter also of Knoxville. Additionally Terry is survived by two nephews, several extended family members and special friends. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m., Friday, May 27, 2016 at Berry Highland South Funeral Home with the service to immediately follow at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Roger Henson officiating.
