OBITUARY
Terry Maurice Sisk
July 8, 1950 – March 15, 2021
Terry M. Sisk, age 70, of Knoxville died March 15, 2021 following a courageous battle with cancer. Terry was born July 8, 1950 and was a graduate of Young High School Class of ’68 where he was a member of the Yellowjacket's football team.
In between high school and college, Terry proudly served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1974. After his military service, Terry continued his education and earned a Master’s Degree at the University of TN. A life long learner and educator, Terry spent his entire 30 year career as a professor at State Tech/Pellissippi Community College.
Terry loved teaching, fishing, participating in reenactments with the Sons of the Revolution and his grandchildren. But nothing surpassed the love he had for Ann, his wife of 51 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Sisk. Survived by: his wife, Andrea Sisk; his daughter, Melanie Smith and husband Jim; his grandchildren, whom he adored, Cheyenne, Luke and Faith Smith; his father, Maurice (Richard) Sisk; his sister, Nancy Palmer and husband Jerry; sister-in-law, Jackie Myers and husband Matt; and nieces and nephews
Special thanks to his friend and fishing buddy, Greg Anderson, for helping him enjoy his favorite hobby as long as possible. The family would like to express their appreciation to UT Hospice for their love and care for Terry.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 4 pm to 6 pm followed by the funeral at 6pm in the chapel of Berry Highland South, 9010 W Simpson Rd. Graveside services with full military honors will be held Tuesday, March 23 at 10:00 am at the East Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery, 2200 E Gov. John Sevier Hwy., Knoxville, TN 37920

A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled:
A place is vacant in our home,
Which can never be filled,
God in His wisdom has recalled,
And the boon his love has given,
And though the body slumbers here,
The soul is safe in heaven.
REST IN PEACE BROTHER
WE WILL SEE YOU AGAIN SOON
