Dearest Bud, Mildred, and family.

So sorry for your loss and pain.  I am so sorry there are no words I can say that would bring you comfort.  God can and will as you open your heart further to Him and His Word.  

What a testament of Bud and Mildred being such loving parents and Thomas being such a loving son.

Thomas,
  You were a brilliant and kind man with a small circle of close friends.  Thomas had a way of showing those around him that he cared, and no one would know that better than the staff that supported him best.  Mr. and Mrs. Palmer are incredibly kind parents and Thomas' greatest advocates. Breakthrough will forever be grateful for the time we spent with Thomas; his passing has left a hole in many hearts.

I worked with Thomas for almost three years majority of my time at breakthrough I was with him. Thomas had an infectious smile could literally light up the room when he’s wanted too. Thomas loved coke when I take him to get lunch he’d hear me say coke at the drive thru and get so happy. He also enjoyed walking at the park, listening to music, and completing his puzzles. Though Thomas was a man of not many words he’d definitely let you know how he was feeling. He was very determined he loved gathering things and collecting them. Over the years I grew a genuine love for Thomas and his Parents(Mr. And Mrs. Palmer) . I thank them for allowing me to work with Thomas all the years and speaking highly of me to my superiors at Breakthrough. Thomas loved his family. Working with Thomas taught me a lot when comes to the professional of looking after someone you can’t just look at like a career or a paycheck, Thomas was a friend to me. All the adversity Thomas and many others go through day by day it showed me how to be grateful for the little things in life. Thomas kept going Thomas was very determined and just opened my eyes to a lot of things. I’m grateful I got to work with him even more grateful I was in his life And I’m going to miss  him so much.

It is hard for me to say goodbye, I will miss that twinkle in your eyes.
I was always proud to call you my Friend, The best friend I could ever have.
Although I loved you dearly, I could not make you stay.
Golden heart stopped beating now you're loving Souls at rest.
God broke my heart to prove to me he only takes the best.
I'm now left with all the memories for those 15 years we spent together.  Although letting go is so heartbreaking, I'll never forget you, may your gentle soul continue resting in peace, until we meet again. Amen

Although i worked in the main office at Breakthrough and didn't see Thomas very much, he always remembered me. He would go out of his way to come to my office and see me whenever him and his support staff would drop by. He was a caring and loving soul and will be greatly missed.
