BOWMAN, TIMOTHY A., age 57 of Strawberry Plains, went home to be with the Lord on January 27, 2014. He was a District Supervisor and employed at Knox County Highway Department for 38 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Bowman; parents, Floyd and Gladys Bowman; Hazel Haun and Don Haun. He is survived by his son, Daniel Bowman; a special friend, Allen Fritts; and friend, Kevin Pollard; numerous other loving family and friends. Family will receive friends at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Steve Evans officiating. Family and friends will meet at McCarty-Evergreen on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. and proceed in procession to Thorngrove Cemetery for a 12:30 p.m. interment service.
