by his mother, Lydia Jewell Hall, his brother, Anthony Hall, his wife, Joyce Hall, his two children
and their spouses Adrian Hall (Rosanne Hall) and Lesley Jones (Brian Jones). He also leaves
behind 5 (soon to be 6) loving grandchildren.
Tim doesn’t just leave behind a loving family; he also leaves behind a legacy of
servanthood and caring for other people. He served in the USAF for 11 years. He cared for
many, many students through 25 years as a high school science teacher. During his
“retirement” he cared for underserved Appalachian communities through his deep involvement
in The Mission of Hope.
Having grown up on the family farm, Tim was an avid gardener and outdoorsman. He
loved when he was outside, walking or working the land. He hooked more than a few fish in
his time, too.
Most importantly he was a devout Christian who served in many church roles over the
years. The impact he had on the those around him has been made abundantly clear through
the outpouring of love his family has received during this time. We know we will see him again
one day.
There will be a private burial ceremony on Thursday, January 20th, 2022. A memorial
service will be held and announced at a later date. In leu of any flowers, please make a
donation to Mission of Hope.
